These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you (hereafter referred to as “you”, “your” or “customer”) and Newmatic Appliances Uganda Limited (hereafter referred to as “Newmatic”, “our”, “we” or “us”).
By using our website, placing an order, or making a purchase in-store, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with an order. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.
These Terms apply to all orders for the purchase of goods and services from Newmatic Uganda.
No other terms apply unless agreed in writing between you and Newmatic.
In case of conflict, a written Sale Agreement signed by both parties shall prevail.
Except as expressly provided, Newmatic Uganda makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding products sold.
In no event shall Newmatic, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Faulty or defective products must be reported within 3 days of purchase and returned with proof of purchase.
All faults are handled in line with the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
Warranty is void if installation is not done by Newmatic-certified technicians.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, accidents, neglect, or unauthorized repair.
Deliveries within Kampala are normally completed within 5–7 business days after full payment.
Free delivery may apply for first-time deliveries within Kampala city limits (check eligibility at purchase). Additional deliveries or deliveries outside Kampala may attract charges.
Delivery delays may occur due to customisation, specialised products, site restrictions, or unforeseen events.
At delivery, the customer or their representative must sign the delivery note. This signature confirms the goods were received in good condition.
Goods must be inspected immediately upon delivery. Unsatisfactory items should be returned with the delivery staff. Returns after delivery are subject to inspection and approval.
If you request delivery to be left unattended, Newmatic is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage thereafter.
Customers must notify us at least 2 days in advance if delivery needs rescheduling.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the products are delivered to your premises or collected by you.
Ownership (title) transfers only after full payment has been received.
All prices are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and inclusive of VAT.
Prices are valid at the time of purchase and cannot be adjusted for later promotions.
In case of pricing errors, you will be notified to confirm the correct price or cancel the order. If already paid, a refund will be issued.
Payment methods include: Visa/Mastercard, Mobile Money, Bank Transfers, and Cheques (deliveries will only proceed once payment is cleared).
We reserve the right to verify identity for security and fraud prevention.
Payment in full is required before delivery arrangements are made.
Products that are faulty, wrongly described, or not performing as expected may be returned for repair, replacement, or credit note.
Refunds are not issued for change of mind or incorrect purchase. Instead, a credit note of equal value will be given.
Custom or special orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
Cancellation of standard orders must be done at least 3 business days before delivery and may attract a cancellation fee.
Products already installed cannot be returned at full value.
Installation must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
A site assessment may be required to confirm measurements, cabinet adjustments, and power outlet positions. Costs of adjustments are borne by the customer.
Installation is carried out only by Newmatic-certified technicians. Unauthorized installation permanently voids warranty.
Appliances must be the final items installed in your kitchen after all construction work is complete.
We are not liable for damage caused by ongoing construction or poor site preparation.
Products are only reserved upon payment of at least 50% deposit.
Maximum storage time is 30 days in our warehouse.
Beyond 30 days, a storage fee of UGX [Insert Daily Rate] per day per order will apply.
Customers must provide accurate contact details and delivery addresses.
Incorrect information may cause delivery delays or rescheduling charges.
All products are subject to stock availability.
Prices are fixed for items on sale, clearance, or special promotions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
Disputes shall be resolved amicably in the first instance, and if unresolved, referred to the courts of Uganda.
Newmatic shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including strikes, natural disasters, government actions, or supply chain disruptions.
All trademarks, content, images, and designs on our website or materials remain the property of Newmatic or its licensors.
Customers may use content only as permitted (e.g., retaining invoices/order records).
These Terms, together with any specific Sale Agreement, represent the full agreement between you and Newmatic Uganda.
No verbal promises or informal arrangements shall override these Terms.
